Responsibilities

• Develop in-demand and viable mobile and/or web solutions for various vertical industries.
• Responsible for functional analysis, information gathering, system design, database design and interface design.
• Develop module specifications during product/solution development life-cycle.
• Responsible for group development source code review and control
• Participate in unit and system testing during product/solution development life-cycle.
• Provide post-development application support and develop appropriate bug fixes & patches.
• Produce product/solution documentation and user manual.
• Mentor and lead junior team members.

Requirements

• Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of related industry experience in R&D or application development role.
• Experience in system analysis, system design, database design and software development methodologies.
• Strong enthusiasm in leading edge mobile (Android, iOS, Blackberry, …) and web (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP, Rich Internet Application, …) technologies.
• Good understanding and familiarity in the following software development technologies:
• - Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, HTML5
• - PHP, CakePHP framework, MySQL, SQLite
• - XML, SOAP, JSON, REST, RSS
• Good understanding and familiarity in the following development tools:
• - Eclipse, SVN, wireframing (mobile & web)
• Knowledge and experience in ActionScript 3, Java, Objective-C will be advantageous.
• Must be well-organized, independent, proactive, detailed and able to meet tight deadlines.
